KUALA LUMPUR: Mlabs Systems Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Multimedia Research Lab Sdn Bhd (MRL), has entered into a collaboration agreement with Thailand's Onliner Company Ltd (Onliner), for the expansion of its information technology (IT) business.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the multimedia video conferencing systems firm said the collaboration would see both MRL and Onliner sharing and capitalising their IT technologies to develop new markets in Thailand and overseas.
Established in 2012, Onliner provides total business solutions in offline and online information technology throughout Thailand and regionally, offers state-of-theart technology in creating and designing computer programmes for wireless Internet networks, WI-Fi marketing and platform solutions.

Under the collaboration, among other things, Onliner will design and set-up the free Wi-Fi and e-commerce services at the Chatuchak market and deliver a 15 per cent cash return per annum on the financial value contributed by MRL under the collaboration commitment, for a minimum of two years commencing from the date of the agreement. — Bernama
