Pulse Secure completes acquisition of Brocade’s vADC
KUALA LUMPUR: Pulse Secure, LLC (Pulse Secure), a leading provider of secure access solutions to both enterprises and service providers, has completed its acquisition of Brocade’s Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC) product family.
In a statement yesterday, it said the acquisition was expected to accelerate the company’s growth in Malaysia. It had recorded over 25 per cent consecutive quarter-onquarter growth in the past three quarters.
Pulse Secure Asia Pacific Regional Director, Don Tan said the acquisition of Brocade’s technology increased Pulse Secure Access Platform’s capabilities by enabling the delivery of a complete end-to-end solution, designed to reduce cost and complexity, while enhancing security.
The Brocade vADC solution was one of the most advanced virtual application delivery controllers in the market, which can be quickly and easily provisioned either on site, private or public cloud, or cloud service marketplaces such as Amazon Web Service, Google, and Azure.
“Since we stepped into the Malaysian market in 2015, Pulse Secure has been seeing robust growth across the government and banking sectors.
“To date, over half of the top 10 banks in Malaysia are our customers, and we will continue to focus on these sectors, while expanding to a broader base in other industries in the Asia Pacific,” Tan said.
He added that Pulse Secure’s distributors in Malaysia were Adaptive Netpoleon Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd. — Bernama
