AAGI named one of Asia’s best companies to work for

KUALA LUMPUR: AXA Affin General Insurance Bhd (AAGI) was named one of Asia’s Best Companies to Work for 2017 in the HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2017 Awards, held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur recently.

AAGI’s chief executive officer (CEO) Emmanuel Nivet, and chief human resource officer (CHRO) Mohd Syukri Ahmad Sudari were present to receive the award.

“Our employees are the backbone ofourcompa­nyandtheke­ytooursucc­ess now and going forward. In line with our ONE AXA value, we grow stronger when we collaborat­e and act as one team. We pride ourselves by empowering our teams to speak their mind and act to make things happen.

“We also promote diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and innovation, to foster a positive culture of transparen­cy and teamwork in the workplace,” Nivet said in a press statement.

The HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2017 Award is organised by HR Asia, Asia’s publicatio­n for senior HR profession­als.

The award recognises employers who have high levels of employee engagement and excellent workplace cultures. Out of 320 companies who participat­ed in the HR Asia’s Survey, 47 companies received the Award. Some of the key criteria assessed included employee’s emotional engagement, employee’s intent and motivation, and employee’s behaviour and advocacy.
