SHAH ALAM: Four suspects, including a woman, are in remand for seven days until next Saturday for investigations into an alleged murder attempt and possession of firearms.

Selangor CID chief, SAC Fadzil Ahmad said the suspects, aged between 22 and 35, were being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder and Section 36 of the Firearms Act 1960 for possession of imitation firearms.

They were arrested following an incident on Saturday , during which the police were forced to fire several shots.

In the 2.30pm incident yesterday, at the car park area of a condominium in Section 14 here, two suspects driving a Toyota Vios repeatedly rammed into a police patrol car, with four policemen inside, in an attempt to escape, forcing the police to fire several shots in self-defence. A shot hit the right thigh of one of the suspects.
