DEADLY PLUNGE:
Nepali rescue personnel and bystanders gather at the site after a bus accident in Gajuri, Dhading district, some 50kms west of Kathmandu. At least 31 people, including 11 children, died when an overcrowded bus swerved off the road and plunged into a river in central Nepal on Oct 28, police said. The bus skidded off the road in Dhading district, approximately 80 kilometres west of the capital Kathmandu, early morning and plunged into the Trishuli River. —AFP photo
