It happened after the Rela members requested the man to move his Toyota Vellfire as the vehicle was obstructing traffic but the man refused to do so.

Earlier, in a press conference at Wisma MCA, Rela directorgeneral Zulkifli Abidin said a middleman working for the suspect had called up the men’s platoon leader and offered them RM10,000 each to withdraw their police report over the incident.

The platoon leader declined the offer.

On Friday (Oct 27) , three Rela members on security duty during a religious ceremony at Kout Ong Yah temple in Kampung Baru Ampang were allegedly roughed up by the “Datuk Seri”.
