KOTA KINABALU: Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu will be conducting its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to help the less fortunate children of Desa Pukak Hostel, Tuaran during the Christmas month.

The initiative dubbed the ‘The Christmas Wish Project’ will enable members of the public to fulfill the wishes of 49 children by giving the latter their desired Christmas gifts.

All the public has to do is to select a Christmas wish card from the Christmas tree in the lobby, purchase the item stated in the card and present it to the hotel’s concierge.

The cards will be available starting December 1 and the presents will have to be presented before December 30.

The hostel is managed by the Good Shepherd Services and it provides temporary accommodation for rural children between the ages of six and 12, while they attended the nearby primary school.

Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu will also be unlocking limitless festive inspirations this holiday season with fascinating dining offers such as the Turducken dish, its highlight for this year’s Christmas Buffet.

“This is a popular dish served during Christmas and it is mixed with turkey, which is stuffed with deboned chicken and duck, as well as other stuffing.

“This is definitely a must try and we will also serve other delicious Christmas favorites including succulent beef and lamb roasts as well as a wonderful spread of festive desserts,” executive chef Fahdrul Abd Malek said.
