‘Style Influencer of the Year’ Hailey Baldwin’s stellar 2017
MODEL and ‘It’ girl Hailey Baldwin has another title to add to her resume after being crowned ‘Style Influencer of the Year’ at the Footwear News Achievement Awards 2017.
“I think it’s cool that people think my style is cool enough to (win an) award,” 21year-old Baldwin told Footwear News. “I’m grateful. Street style is such a big part of my job and life, so to be recognised for that is a great opportunity for me.”
The US fashion and social media star also took to Instagram to express her gratitude at receiving the award and share the details of her look for the night, which featured an asymmetric blue Fendi shirtdress, a sleek high ponytail, and a pair of nude stiletto ankle sock boots.
The award comes as no surprise to those following Baldwin, whose career has been on the rise ever since she was signed up to IMG Models back in March 2016. The star has had a stellar professional year, featuring in runway shows for multiple fashion houses including Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger and Moschino, and landing 17 international magazine covers, including the July edition of Love Magazine and the May edition of US Elle. She has also starred in campaigns for Guess, ModelCo Cosmetics and L’Oreal Professional. Like any model worth their salt these days, she also has plenty of fashion and beauty business collaborations under her belt. Her debut fashion line “#theHAILEYedited”, a capsule collection for Australian label The Daily Edited, was unveiled in July 2016, and was quickly followed up with a beauty collection for the Australian cosmetics brand ModelCo in November of the same year. She also found the time to drop a shoe collaboration with the British fashion label Public Desire, in between heading on vacation with her famous model BFFs Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, and building up an Instagram following of over 10 million followers. — Relaxnews
