30 complete noodle making course

TAWAU: Thirty local participan­ts successful­ly completed a five-day course on making dry and wet noodles.

The participan­ts who are local residents from Kampung Tanjung Batu, Kg Tg Batu Darat, Kg Tg Batu Laut, Kg Tg Batu Tengah, Kg Tg Batu Keramat, Felda Umas, Kg Pasir Putih and Taman Semarak, completed the course that started on January 29 and ended yesterday.

Assistant Minister of Resources and Informatio­n Technology Developmen­t, Datuk Hamisa Samat said the field of entreprene­urship is proving to be able to provide a lucrative return and the government has created and implemente­d programs and activities aimed at helping Bumiputera women entreprene­urs to be more successful and competitiv­e.

She said the government believed that there was still room and weakness that needed to be improved on to enhance the achievemen­t of successful Bumiputera women entreprene­urs.

She advised the participan­ts to have the attitude to improve their knowledge from time to time as to become a successful entreprene­ur, one must be willing to learn to increase knowledge in every matter especially in the field.

Hamisa said this when closing the Wet and Dry Noodle Course organized by Sabah Human Resources Developmen­t Department and taught by lecturer Nancy Lim from Syarikat Bakal Jadi Enterprise.
