People assured of peace, harmony under BN – Sairin
KENINGAU: Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Datuk Haji Sairin Karno said the Barisan Nasional (BN) government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak was able to provide development, prosperity, economic and political stability and peace and harmony to the people.
He said many developments had been brought about by the BN which had a huge impact on the progress of the people either in education, health, economy, infrastructure and their welfare.
“Under the BN government, the country, especially the state, is on the right track to bring about diversity of development and basic facilities for the benefit of the people,” he said in his speech when officiating at a Current Talk Program held at Kampung Titiku Pamalan here on Tuesday.
“I am convinced that the BN government has never neglected its responsibilities to defend the welfare and future of the people.
“As leaders close to the people, the Prime Minister and Chief Minister as well as other BN leaders are always listening to the pulse of the people and are always going the ground to meet the people and resolve their problems,” he said.
“The people should not listen to empty propaganda of the opposition,” advised Sairin who is also Keningau Umno division chief.
He urged the people in Liawan to continue their solid support for the BN government in the 14th General Election as only BN could bring development to them.
Sairin described the program organized by the Community Development Department (KEMAS) as timely to provide space for the villagers to exchange information on current issues that serve as a platform to strengthen their relationships with BN leaders.
Also present at the event were Liawan Community Development Leader Sahanip Jamil, Keningau Umno Women’s vice chief Haini Karno and community leaders.
