New exhibition centre to boost Foshan’s offerings
KUALA LUMPUR: The much-anticipated Foshan Household Essentials Exhibition Centre (Malaysia) Exhibition Centre located at Kota Damansara was officially launched earlier this week.
Originating from Foshan city in China, this Exhibition Centre is set to be the first one-stop centre for home building materials in Southeast Asia, and the fourth to be opened, after Iran, Hungary and Australia.
The new Foshan Household Essentials Exhibition Centre aims to serve mainly the Malaysia and the Southeast Asia market.
The launch of Foshan Household Essentials Exhibition Centre (Malaysia) is a result of the increased economic ties between China and Malaysia, which is in line with China’s ‘One Road, One Belt’ policy implemented in recent years.
The Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia reported that between January to October 2017, trade between China and Malaysia amounted to RM237.96 billion. With this, China has become Malaysia’s largest trading partner.
“Foshan Household Essentials has been a crucial partner for numerous developers in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The company has become an important support and driver of growth in the market.
“Malaysia is a strong and stable market and with the existing strong ties between the two countries, Malaysia is a natural choice as the base of Foshan Household Essentials’ expansion into Southeast Asia.
“Foshan Household Essential is dedicated to increase export volume and encourage more Chinese companies to invest in Malaysia, thus enhancing the ecosystem that benefits businesses and economies in both countries,” Mosz Chin, chief executive officer of Foshan Household Essentials Exhibition Centre commented at the launch ceremony.
As a one-stop home-furnishing concept and home building materials provider, Foshan Household Essentials’ base is at Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Foshan Household Essentials have consistently supplied goods and services at high performance price ratio to investors, property developers, agents and terminal consumers.
