PUTATAN: Putatan member of parliament Datuk Dr Marcus Makin Mojigoh dared to make a bet that Kapayan assemblyman Dr Edwin Bosi will lose in the upcoming election.

“Look at the problems in Kapayan and he wants to contest again?” Mojigoh told reporters at the Chinese New Year celebration held at Putatan Chinese Kapitan KOTA KINABALU: Nothing is definite when its comes to the 14th general election (GE14) candidacy of the now coy Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament (MP) Jimmy Wong Sze Phin.

"I have even said that I may possibly stand in Sepanggar," he quipped when asked about his return to Sri Tanjong constituency for GE14 here yesterday.

"Including me, there may be three possible candidates for Sepanggar," added the Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sabah advisor.

These candidates include DAP Sabah Sook coordinator Adrian Lasimbang and Sepanggar Ng Cheng Thing's residence near here recently.

Mojigoh asked Bosi to list down the progress that has been brought about by DAP and to list down the progress brought about by Upko.

“Don't talk about Upko because we have served the area (Penampang) area for many years and look at the progress that had been achieved,” he said. coordinator Tan Lee Fatt, who had served the state constituency for eight years.

Jimmy also announced that a breakthrough may soon be made between the Pakatan Harapan coalition and three local opposition parties, including Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS), in the future.

He said should a deal finally be struck, it would be another political landmark achieved between a national coalition and local opposition parties in Sabah.

"We all need to work together to save Sabah. In order to save Malaysia, we must save Sabah," said Jimmy.

As for Penampang member of parliament Darell Leiking, Mojigoh also asked what he has done for Penampang.

“Tell me one particular programme that he has done,” he said.

“They (Bosi and Leiking) expect to win. The people know Warisan cannot win in Sabah because they cannot unite,” said Mojigoh.
