Mojigoh to Bosi: How many Kadazans voted for you?

-

KOTA KINABALU: A war of words has started between Kapayan assemblyman Dr Edwin Bosi and Putatan member of parliament Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh.

Yesterday Mojigoh in reply to Bosi’s statement about the Momogun in Putatan not in favour of him, said that the Kapayan assemblyman should count how many Kadazan votes he garnered in the 13th general election.

“My sympathies to a rookie politician like Bosi. Don’t tickle me, Edwin look at yourself in the mirror then ask how many of the Kadazan in Kapayan voted for you. It is because of the Chinese anger that they voted for DAP.

“Ask around the Chinese community in Kapayan whether they know who you are before the 13th general election. They voted for DAP not for the unknown Dr Edwin Bosi at that time,” said Mojigoh.

Mojigoh also took Bosi to task for claiming that most of his votes came from constituents in Lok Kawi and Pulau Gaya.

“Don’t play the issue of voters in Lok Kawi and Pulau Gaya. For your information more than 80 per cent of the Momogun in Putatan voted for me. So don’t play racial issues with me because we in BN are colour blind.

“Let me repeat this… check your votes Edwin. How many Kazadans in Kapayan voted for you,” he said.

On Bosi’s claim that he fought for the flood mitigation fund for Penampang, Mojigoh said that the project was initiated a long time ago by the then Penampang member of parliament Tan Sri Bernard Dompok and it was only a matter of doing the planning and getting the right time to implement.

“What program did you do Edwin? Zero, don’t talk nonsense. You said you had regular meetings with the officers around Penampang. If I ask them they will surely deny, so don’t talk rubbish,” he said.

Replying to Bosi’s statement on the clogged drains around Kapayan, Mojigoh said it was caused by indiscriminate dumping of rubbish into the drains.

“Let me ask you how many times have you conducted dialogues and meetings with the local residents, especially at the low cost housing in Kapayan? I was told zero and what kind of wakil rakyat is that?

“As a hardcore friend of mine you can join BN and we can fight together,” Mojigoh said.
