The five finalists received their prizes from Nancy Kuyor – wife of Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit, and Seriah Thomas – wife of Pelagus assemblyman Wilson Nyabong, witnessed by over 600 guests.

Adding to the mood was a performance by popular recording artiste Melissa Francis, who delivered several of her Iban hits.

The top two winners of Miss Grand Kapit 2018 will represent the division in the Miss Grand Sarawak 2018 pageant next month.

Deputy Minister Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi, Jamit and Nyabong were among those who attended the event.
