FITBIT has announced that its latest Fitbit Ionic smartwatch will be available at major retailers across Malaysia.

The new smartwatch redefines tracking fitness and health with its latest Fitbit software and industry leading components.

Fitbit Ionic delivers advanced and innovative health and fitness features like industryleading GPS, enhanced heart rate tracking, on-device guided workouts and automatic sleep tracking with Sleep Stages.

It is all powered by up to five days battery life and crossplatform smartphone compatibility.

The new watch is also equipped with smart features consumers need most, such as contactless payments, on-board music, notifications, and a variety of popular apps and clock faces delivered via the Fitbit App Gallery, Ionic offers consumers a smartwatch with purpose.

Fitbit Ionic can also be paired with Fitbit’s first wireless headphones, Fitbit Flyer. It features a durable, sweatproof design and customisable fit with an advanced sound performance for whether it’s listening to music seamlessly from Ionic, Audio Coaching from the Fitbit Coach smartphone appii, or staying in touch on the go.

“We defined the fitness tracker market 10 years ago and look forward to doing the same with the smartwatch category, delivering what consumers want most and have not yet seen in a smartwatch. The Fitbit Ionic features dynamic personal coaching, which is an onscreen workout guide for its users based on their preference and body-type. It can also store and play more than 300 songs as well as downloads from Pandora.

Aside from that, it features a multi-sport smart track for realtime stats while its ‘all-day activity’ feature tracks steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed, active minutes and hourly activity.
