PH S’wak confident coalition will form new government

-

KUCHING: Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sarawak is confident the opposition coalition will form a new government after the 14th general election.

PH Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen said the election results would see a new beginning for Malaysia.

“So far, as it is, we have the Prime Minister in waiting, we have the Deputy Prime Minister in waiting, and we have the next Prime Minister in waiting as well,” he told a press conference after launching the first phase of PH Sarawak’s manifesto yesterday.

He clarified that PH has not drawn up a shadow cabinet list.

“There is no such thing as PH’s shadow cabinet. There were so many versions of our shadow cabinet being circulated but they are all fakes,” he said.

On seat allocation, Chong said the Democratic Action Party, Parti Keadilan Rakyat, and Parti Amanah Negara in the state had settled its division of parliamentary seats and almost settled its list of candidates.
