PCS leaders being enticed to leave party – Kalakau

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) leaders and potential 14th general election (GE14) candidates are being enticed to leave and join another party.

PCS vice president and organizing secretary Datuk Kalakau Untol, when making this claim here yesterday, called on all party ranks and leaders to stand united behind president Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing during the critical period before the looming election.

“Give the full support he needs especially at this crucial time when serious negotiation among the opposition parties is being given serious thoughts,” said Kalakau.

“The party is aware that outside elements are trying to woo some of our leaders into joining their party and there may be those who will succumb to the materialistic enticement,” he added.

Kalakau asserted the top party leadership will not hesitate to take a serious view over the allegation that individuals are out to disrupt and divide PCS.

“I urge the president to take the necessary action within his power to instill discipline within the party ranks,” he said.

“The party is aware that there are individuals who are out to disintegrate our party by enticing our party leaders, especially our potential candidates, into leaving our party and joining other party.

“We are aware of what is going on and we sincerely call upon fellow opposition parties to respect the existence and the struggle of PCS,” emphasized Kalakau.
