Hubby reported for making death threat

MIRI: A woman lodged a police report against her husband after he allegedly threatened to kill her on Saturday.

The incident happened at the couple's house in Tudan around 12.30pm when the husband suddenly ran amok and struck his 48-year-old wife with a plastic chair, causing her to sustain bruises on her thigh.

The husband, who was armed with a machete during the incident, then made threats against her life, causing her to flee from the house.

Fearing for her safety, the woman proceeded to lodge a report.

Police are investigating.
