Muhammad farkhan wins ABF Cruiserweight title

KUALA LUMPUR: Professional boxer Muhammad Farkhan Haron has continued his impressive performance in the international stage, winning the Asian Boxing Federation’s (ABF) Cruiserweight Championship in Manila, The Philippines, Saturday.

The former national boxer from Johor defeated Jamed Jalarante from Indonesia through a technical knockout in the sixth round of the fight, according to the official Facebook page of the Johor Southern Tigers.

The latest success saw the son of former national boxer, the late Mohd Haron Ismail, take his professional career tally to six matches unbeaten.

For the record, Muhammad Farkhan had won the light heavyweight title in the Johor International Boxing Championship (JIBC) in Johor Bahru, January last year. - Bernama
