Sabah Umno Women long ready

-

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno Women chief Datuk Armani Mahiruddin is very satisfied with the preparation of the Kota Kinabalu Parliament Umno Women component in all three constituencies, in anticipation of the upcoming 14th general election (GE14).

“Sabah Umno Women (movement) has been ready for a long time and is only waiting for the word. Jalinan Rakyat's preparation throughout Sabah is also very satisfactory. We cannot act at the last minute because it will only cause problems,” she said.

Armani also reminded Umno and BN Women here to not be over confident in their groundwork that they forget other duties that must be completed.

“In terms of readiness, we are well prepared but while waiting for the election date to be announced, it's not yet time for us to approach voters,” she stressed during a visit to the KK Umno Women JR movement.

Meanwhile, KK Umno Women chief Datuk Rosimah Zakaria said the Umno women election component is ready to assist BN candidates to win the election in the KK parliamentary areas including Likas, Api-Api and Luyang.

Rosimah expressed confidence in KK Parliament showing continued support to the BN government as it has brought development and change for the benefit of the people and the nation.

“That said, KK Umno Women will work harder to ensure victory in the upcoming election, which is why we made advanced preparations.

“We strongly support candidates who will be named in the KK Parliament as well as the three state constituencies and ensure that the area will return to BN,” she affirmed.

To date, Parliament 172 Kota Kinabalu voters comprise 56,703 voters, Dun N.14 Likas 15,153 voters, Dun N.15 Api-Api 19,303 and Dun N.16 Luyang 21,852 voters.
