RANAU: Sabah needs to move forward aggressively to ensure continuous prosperity and security for the people and the future, said Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.

He said the people of Sabah are fortunate to have their voices heard and needs being fulfilled accordingly by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.

To ensure continuity, BN leaders at all levels need to work hard and serve the people, sincerely and fairly when they are in power, Musa stressed at a special meeting with committee members of the Ranau Umno Division which is headed by Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.

Musa who is also Sabah Umno Liaison Chief, said by delivering their service with good intentions, people will remember their deeds in the future.

In the meeting the Chief Minister also urged Umno leaders to continue serving the people with due diligence as that is what is expected of them by virtue of their affiliation with the party.

He urged Umno members to brace themselves ahead of the 14th General Election which will be held on May 9.

“Although many people describe this coming election as the father of all elections but I believe, with the high spirit shown by Umno members in Ranau and other places in Sabah, we can win the election.”

Prime Minister and Umno President Datuk Seri Najib Razak has also been consistent in helping Sabah compared to other Prime Ministers before him.

Earlier Masidi pledged his support to Musa to continue leading Sabah because of his ability to bring much development in the state.

“A visionary leader should be fully supported as this will benefit the people and the state,” said Masidi who is also Karanaan assemblyman.
