PAN all out to grab Inanam seat

-

INANAM: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri (PAN) Inanam division is throwing its full support behind local boy Terrence Tsen to be the party’s candidate for the State seat in the coming general election.

Party members and supporters believed that Terrence is the right leader to improve the economic standard of Inanam and address the problems in the area.

“We will strongly rally behind the candidacy of our preferred candidate and ensure he will come out victorious in the coming 14th general election (G14),” they assured.

The members and supporters also claimed that even followers of other political parties, have expressed their willingness to support Terrence.

Last Monday, Terrence attended the launching of PAN branch committee at Kampung Marabahai in Tuaran and he delivered a very inspiring message to the people in the area.

The evening function was also attended by PAN president Datuk Hendrynus Amin and incumbent Kepayan assemblyman Dr Edwin Bosi.

“We are happy that we continue to receive overwhelming response and undivided support from the general public, especially voters,” Terrence said during the ceremony.

Terrence said he will abide by the party leadership’s decision should he be chosen to wave PAN flag in the coming polls.

“I will give priority to the welfare and interest of my people in Inanam in all my endeavours when given the mandate to represent them in the State Assembly,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hendrynus said the party would come big in numbers to ensure Terrence win.

He said it would be a waste of his (Terrence) talent and also Inanam’s potentials if people fail to realise they need a leader who can make things happen.

The incumbent Inanam assemblyman is Dr Roland Chia of Parti Keadilan Rakyat.

Meanwhile voters are encouraged to come home to Kudat to exercise their sovereign right to vote on May 9.

PAN spiring opposition candidate for Tanjung Kapor (N.2), Thomas Tsen, said employers should observe the declared public holiday or allow employees time off to cast their vote.

The Sabah Government has declared May 9 as an additional public holiday to enable the people in the State to fulfil their responsibility as voters.
