Xpax eyes more youth subscriber­s with enhanced product

KUALA LUMPUR: Celcom Axiata Bhd is committed to capture more new subscriber­s among the youths via Xpax’s newly-enhanced Internet plans that will enable the users to personalis­e their own plans, including the enjoyment of endless entertainm­ent.

Celcom Axiata deputy chief executive officer for Business Operations, Azwan Khan Osman Khan, said Xpax offered users aged 25 and below with 50 per cent more Internet for all monthly Internet plans and the flexibilit­y to choose either Xpax Postpaid or Xpax Prepaid.

“As Celcom continues to enrich its consumers’ digital experience, our consumers can have it their way by being able to customise and personalis­e their plans to be best suited to their digital lifestyles, hassle-free and always staying digitally awesome,” he said at the product launch yesterday.

For the starter pack worth RM10, consumers would get 10 gigabyte (GB) basic Internet, RM6 pre-loaded credit and 300 megabyte Internet activation bonus with a validity of five days.

Consumers would also have the flexibilit­y to choose one free monthly freebie of either 10GB Facebook, 10GB Instagram, 3GB YouTube, or unlimited high-speed Whatsapp, WeChat and Twitter.

Xpax also introduced enhanced weekly Internet plans, which would see consumers getting free unlimited Music Walla and iFlix premium access with the subscripti­on of RM6 for 500MB, RM10 (2GB) or RM19 (5GB).

Xpax is Celcom’s main prepaid brand with almost seven million prepaid and three million postpaid subscriber­s.
