BN has fulfilled the mandate to serve

KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional (BN) has met all its promises and has fulfilled the mandate to work and serve the people.

Caretaker Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman said the BN government had successfully shown that as the government, they have always been caring, honest and responsible in helping to find a solution to the people’s problems.

“What is more important is that we don’t simply talk, we don’t give empty promises and tell lies like the opposition,” he said.

He urged the people to continue rendering their support to BN and support its transformation and development agenda.

“The support and loyalty to BN is important to allow more development to take place,” he said.

Speaking at the Yayasan Sabah roadshow held at Yayasan Sabah near here yesterday, Musa also said that BN has systematic and clear planning and implementation as well as the political will, alongside the public service and private sector and the people.

“We go down to the ground, listen to the people, find solutions, plan and implement the development agenda for the people,” he said.

In his speech which was read by caretaker Minister at the Prime Minister’s office, Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Musa, who is also chairman of Yayasan Sabah Board of Trustees, also commended Yayasan Sabah which was established in 1967.

“If, prior to this, there are some parties alleging that Yayasan Sabah is bankrupt, they are talking without facts and proof. It is obvious that all these are lies, as we can see today, Yayasan Sabah continues to be strong and stable and able to implement its agendas and activities as usual,” he said.

He also acknowledged the Federal government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, which has provided an allocation of RM250 million to develop the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

He said the SICC would provide a large pool of human capital, hence providing jobs to the local people of Sabah, especially her graduates.

Meanwhile, Yayasan Sabah deputy director, Datuk Rosmawati Lasuki, said that the SICC is capable of providing more than 10,000 jobs and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
