KUDAT: A total of 250 officials and supporters of Parti Kebangsaan Sabah (PKS) and Barisan Nasional (BN) abandoned their respective parties and pledged loyalty to

Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) during a ceremony held at Tanjung Kapor on Tuesday.

The change of party loyalty ceremony was witnessed by PCS President Datuk Wilfred Bumburing.

The PKS and BN defectors were headed by Mohd Noor who officially handed over their membership application forms to PCS Tg Kapor candidate Thomas Tsen.

Bumburing in welcoming the new members said the switching of political camps proved that the local populace wanted to see genuine changes in Kudat and at the same time reject BN.

During the ceremah, he again explained to voters the reason behind the political pact between PCS and PKAN and its imminent merger after the 14th general election.

Meanwhile, Thomas urged voters in Kudat to totally reject Umno/BN for failing to improve the economic development and lifelihood in Kudat.

“I am receiving overwhelming response from the voters here in all our our political gatherings but we cannot be complacent. We will do our work until the last hour of the campaign period next week to ensure overwhelming victory,” Thomas who is a native of Kudat stressed.
