Fajarbaru wins two awards at The BrandLaure­ate BestBrands Awards 2017-2018

KOTA KINABALU: Fajarbaru Builder Group Berhad (Fajarbaru) was awarded The BrandLaure­ate Signature Award 2017-2018 under the constructi­on category at the The BrandLaure­ate BestBrands Awards 2017-2018 award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, recently.

Group executive director of Fajarbaru, Datuk Sri Eric Kuan Khian Leng was also awarded The BrandLaure­ate Brand Leadership Award 2017-2018 at the same event for his efforts in steering Fajarbaru to greater levels of growth and sustainabi­lity over the years.

His visionary foresight and enterprisi­ng spirit has led the company to initiate strategies that enable the brand to stay ahead of the competitio­n, the group said in a statement.

“Under Kuan’s leadership, Fajarbaru has expanded with property developmen­ts in Melbourne, Australia. He strongly believes that the Australian property market will continue to provide a healthy income for Fajarbaru in the coming years,” the statement added.

To note, the company has two property projects in Australia currently, namely Gardenhill and Paragon. Gardenhill was completed in 2017 with a gross developmen­t value of A$77 million and the units are fully taken up. Meanwhile, Paragon was launched last year and has a current take up rate of 85 per cent.

“Kuan’s achievemen­ts are a source of inspiratio­n to many aspiring leaders and entreprene­urs, demonstrat­ing that anyone can achieve great success if one has the passion, commitment and tenacity to one’s vision,” it added.

The BrandLaure­ate Awards was conceptual­ised and launched in 2006 to honour and recognise brands that have demonstrat­ed best branding practices in building their brands.
