-

KOTA KINABALU: An orthodontist and mother of three from Putatan, came to Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Shafie Apdal's house here at 12pm yesterday to urge the WarisanPakatan Harapan elected people's representatives to not jump ship.

“I voted for Warisan-PH. Please do not jump ship. Do not embarrass us Sabahans who voted for you,” she said whilst standing in the middle of Shafie's residence here yesterday.

“I have heard many bad things last night and couldn't sleep last night. I will leave when I get the assurance from him (Shafie). People of Sabah are fed up. This is the rakyat's hope that we will not have our elected representatives jump ship again.

“I am not a party member. I am just a member of the public. I am doing this for my children, my children's future,” added the lady in her late 30s.

Re-elected Sandakan MP Stephen Wong lauded and gave the thumbs up for her brave reminder to the elected representatives.

“What you are doing is good. It is a good reminder to the elected,” she said.

The orthodontist stood outside for several hours and later went inside the house calling for the people here to not jump ship.

“I have a message for him (Shafie). I will only leave when I have assurance from him. I need to hear him say it,” she said.

Shafie came out of the discussion room at 2.45pm and assured the orthodontist that none of the Warisan-PH elected representatives had jumped shipu?.

However, he shared it is STAR that had turned his back on Warisan to forge ties with the BN coalition in Sabah to form the next government.
