UEM Sunrise maintains RM1.2 billion FY18 sales target
KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd is maintaining its RM1.2 billion sales target at RM1.2 billion for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018, partly supported by the improved buying sentiment following the 14th general election (GE14) on May 9.
Managing director and chief executive officer Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib said sales picked up in the first half of the year which was partly attributed to the positive buying sentiment which contrasted the subdued uncertainties that clouded the market pre-election.
“Currently, our sales stand at about 70 per cent of the target. So, we are on track to achieve the RM1.2 billion target,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the special media briefing on UEM Sunrise’s 50th Celebration yes- terday.
In conjunction with the anniversary celebration, UEM Sunrise is offering a special offer for 300 units of landed and high-rise properties under its seven projects in Cyberjaya and Johor Bahru.
The special offer, beginning from Aug 6 to mid-September will enable buyers to purchase the properties with prices starting from RM293,000 and down payments as low as RM1,000.
The seven property developments are Verdi Eco-Dominiums and Symphony Hills in Cyberjaya, and Teega Puteri Harbour, Almas Puteri Harbour, Estauri Gardens Puteri Harbour, Residensi Ledang Puteri Harbour and Bayu Angkasa in Johor Bahru.
Moving forward, Anwar Syahrin said the company planned to have launches for the second half of the year.
“We are also looking at developing some properties ranged between RM500,000 and RM700,000 in the southern region and will continue these strategies to achieve our RM1.2 billion sales target,” he added. — Bernama
