Inti Deras Motors to launch 2018 Yamaha YZF-R15
KOTA KINABALU: Inti Deras Motors will launch one of the most anticipated models of the year, the Yamaha YZF R15, in Sabah.
The all new YZF-R15 is a 155 cc sport bike with a single-cylinder and a liquid-cooled engine with four valves and variable valve actuation (VVA).
Powered via a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch and chain final drive, the engine is housed in an updated Deltabox chassis with aluminium swing arm.
The top features of the all-new Yamaha YZF-R15 are:
1. The new version of the R15 is the first in the 150cc class to have an advanced feature of an assist and slipper clutch that provides a smoother ride, easy gear shift and quicker acceleration.
2. Equipped with USD front suspension that offers better handling, stability, control and style.
3. Braking is done with a large front single hydraulic 282 mm diameter disc, enhancing the braking performance allowing a safer and more confident ride. It is clamped by a two-piston caliper with a 220 mm diameter disc with a single-piston caliper at the back.
4. New LED headlights and taillight compliment the first in its class hazard lights used during an emergency situation. The cockpit is a fully digital LCD panel which includes shift lights.
5. The YZF-R15 comes with a new super-wide IRC tyres (front: 100 / 80-17, rear: 140mm/70 -17) with enhanced stabilizers and balances the motorcycle, making the journey more comfortable and safe.
The New YZF-R15 is a “Nextgeneration 155cc Super-sport Inheriting R-DNA”, adapting its ferocious looks and aggression from its elder track sibling R1. The all-new R15 doesn’t fail to impress and will surely bring the track experience to the streets.
There are two colour options for the 2018 Yamaha YZF R15 -blue and black.
The public will be able to experience the all-new Yamaha YZF-R15 as it will be made available and is displayed at Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd, Penampang.
