Nestle Nankid Optipro holds dialogue on motherhood
KUALA LUMPUR: As part of Nankid’s The Science of mother campaign, Nestle Nankid Optipro hosted a lively dialogue on September 29, uniting leading healthcare professionals, social media influencers, and a roomful of mothers to discuss and uncover the distinctions that make motherhood an exceptional and inspirational journey.
An eminent panel of healthcare professionals including Paul Jambunathan, radio celebrity and consultant clinical psychologist at Monash University, leading consultant general and developmental paediatrician, Dr Rajini A/P Sarvananthan, ParkCity Medical Centre and Mary Easaw, chief dietician Institut Jantung Negara, were present to lead the dialogue session. The heavyweight panel were joined by social media influencers, Mawar Rashid and chief editor of Mommy Baby magazine and website, Lim Bi Qiu.
Child and family development specialist, Racheal Kwacz moderated the panel, tackling a series of relevant parenting issues such as managing tantrums and instilling good behaviour - how to deal, where to start and everything in between; fostering good eating and the right nutritional habits and being independent: tips in raising independent kids. The topics made for a hearty discussion with recommendations, thoughts and viewpoints stemming from the values and philosophy that have inspired Nankid, The science of mother campaign.

In conjunction with the dialogue, Wong and Eugene Chan, Executive Director, Communications & Marketing Services, Nestle Malaysia & Singapore unlocked the key to Nankid’s The science of mother and officially launched the new packaging design for Nest le Nan kid Optipro.
During the launch, guests were apprised of Nestle Nankid Optipro’s unique blend of optimised protein. The right amount of quality protein helps support a child’s optimal growth and development.
After the dialogue, founders of Eats, Shoots and Roots, an urban edu-garden start-up shared with guests how they can create gardens of their own at home with their child. They shared that the learning supports awareness of where food originates, highlights the benefits of eating green veggies and demonstrates how gardening can be a multi-sensory bonding experience between mother and child.
