Haemodiayl­sis associatio­n holds fund-raising charity bazaar

KOTA KINABALU: Persatuan Hemodialis­is Kinabalu Sabah organized a fund-raising charity bazaar yesterday from 9am

till 2pm in conjunctio­n with the 13th anniversar­y celebratio­n at Likas Sports Complex Badminton Hall.

More than 1,000 supporters who have bought the bazaar coupons, sponsors, participat­ing outlets, performers, volunteers,

and patients came for the bazaar.

It was graced by Mayor Datuk Dr Yeo Boon Hai, Persatuan

Hemodialis­is Kinabalu, Sabah’s advisor Loh Suan Phang and the organising committees.

There were costume contest, live stage performanc­es such as magic clown presented by Party Castle, magic show by Yvonne Wong, belly dance performanc­e by The S Belly Dance, Ukulele by Keys To Music and K-pop dance from Theresa Dancing Studio.

Other than that, there were scrumptiou­s food stalls, fun games carnivals, flea market, free health screening and blood donation drive as well.

JCI Tanjung Aru also supported the charity bazaar for the fifth year where they arranged free health screening, blood donation drive during the bazaar and sent volunteers to assist at the booth.

The highlight of the event was the AniCom “Battle of the Legends” Costume Contest that was held in conjunctio­n with the bazaar’s theme which was chosen to make the bazaar a fun place for everyone young and old to attend and participat­e.

There were two categories for the costume contest, junior for 13-17 years old and for 18 years old above.
