Han Ji Min wins ‘Best Actress’ award at London East Asia Film Festival
SEOUL: Han Ji Min was recently awarded the Best Actress for her most recent film ‘Miss Baek’ at the London East Asia Film Festival held at Leicester Square in London, England.
This is her second Best Actress award for the film, the first awarded to her through the 38th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards.
For her acceptance speech, Han Ji Min said, “Thank you for this honourable award. I’m happy to be here today for ‘Miss Baek’, and I’m even happier to receive the special award.”

“’Miss Baek’ depicts a story relating to child abuse. No child should go through such unhappiness. I hope all children can enjoy happy lives, something that we should guarantee for them.”
‘Miss Baek’ was the opening film of the festival’s most popular section ‘Stories of Women’, and was praised as “a film that is able to transcend all barriers of language and culture to connect with people.
