Tawau Job Fair on Nov 1 at Eastern Plaza

TAWAU: The Tawau parliamentary people service centre and Tawau Labour Department will jointly organise a job fair on November 1 at Eastern Plaza here from 10 am to 5 pm.

Fung Thin Yein, the aide to Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Christina Liew, said the job fair will be officiated by Liew, and he invited the public to attend.

Among the events at the job fair will be open interviews, meet-the-client sessions, booth exhibitions and entrepreneurship seminars relating to homestay program, seaweed farming, fishin-cage rearing and mobile unit kiosks.

Transport will be provided for the public from Balung to Eastern Plaza.

Fung urged all aspiring candidates to be neatly dressed and to bring along their resume and certificates for the open interview session with prospective employers on that day.
