Klagan Regency unveils newly refurbished ballroom
KOTA KINABALU: The Klagan Regency 1Borneo here launched its newly refurbished grand ballroom yesterday.
The pillarless ballroom can accommodate up to 1,800 guests for cocktail receptions, 1,700 theatre style, 1,000 banquet and 800 classroom style.
As such it is an ideal venue for various types of gatherings, such as weddings, gala dinners, exhibitions, meetings and conferences.
Its general manager Yeow Hock Siew said with the refurbishment they believe that they can accommodate the various functions that their guests require, both in capacity and capabilities.
“We understand the importance of space as well as the flexibility of the venue to accommodate for the various functions type and number of guests including government functions with assured adherence to required protocol,” he stated.
“We have a team of well-trained and experienced professionals who will work and walk the extra mile to ensure that our guests are catered to professionally without compromises and are confident that functions of any volume will be attended to efficiently ensuring a successful and truly memorable event.”
Present to launch the newly refurbished ballroom was the general manager for Sabah Tourism Board, Suzaini Datuk Sabdin Ghani who commended the establishment for their facilities.
Also present during the event were executive chairman of The Klagan Group, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Koh Kin Lip, director of The Klagan Group Dato’ Junior Koh and Group General Manager of The Klagan Group, Thomas More Willie.
