Neil, Valeri emerge winners

KOTA KINABALU: Neil Bainon and Valeri Vanessa Langkab emerged as winners in the KGC Junior Series Golf Championship at the Kinabalu Golf Club in Tg Aru here, on Thursday.

Neil carded 81 to win on countback after Christopher James also carded the same score in the Boy’s Category A challenge.

Muhammad Zaeem and Maxwin Chiew completed third and fourth place respectively after both players finished with an 82, while Hissard Sharie Tambakau was fifth on 89.

Meanwhile, Valeri won the Girl’s Category A with an 81, while Derrick Kong and Nabilah Alifuddin won the titles in the Category B.

Mohd Asward Aizudin Mohd Sapre and Rachel Wong won the Category C, while Jared Steave Madis and Dynneva Joyce Donni won the Category D challenge.
