Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin rumoured to be in a romantic relationship

SEOUL: Are A-list actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin dating?

Although the actors have denied their romantic relationship, the rumour mill is still working overtime, with dozens of netizens parading evidence that they are dating.

Many claim the pair exhibited particular affection towards each other while promoting the film ‘The Negotiation’, in which they co-starred in 2018. Son also has disclosed myriad photos taken with Hyun Bin on her Instagram.

The rumour began to circulate after a netizen revealed on an online community Wednesday that she spotted the pair and Son’s parents at a golf course and a restaurant in Los Angeles.

But the agencies of both stars denied the rumour.

“Son is currently on a trip alone,” a spokesperson for her agency, MSTeam Entertainment, said. “Her parents are in Korea at this moment. They could not have had a meal with Son and Hyun Bin.”

VAST Entertainment, which manages Hyun Bin, said: “Hyun Bin has been staying abroad for his personal affairs but Son did not accompany him.”

Hyun Bin dated Song Hye-kyo in 2008, after the couple met in the drama ‘The Way They Live’. The couple dated for three years before breaking up. Song, currently appearing in the drama ‘Encounter’, is married to actor Song Joong-ki, whom she met when filming the drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’.

Hyun Bin is currently starring in tvN drama ‘Memories of the Alhambra’ with Park Shin-hye.

Son Ye-jin was romantically linked with co-star Jung Hae-in when she appeared in the 2018 romantic comedy, ‘Something in the Rain’. Son is currently reviewing her work.
