FCAS pres­i­dent briefs ad­vi­sors on CNY Car­ni­val

KOTA KINABALU: Fed­er­a­tion of Chi­nese As­so­ci­a­tions Sabah (FCAS) pres­i­dent Tan Sri TC Goh hosted a lun­cheon for ad­vi­sors of the fed­er­a­tion to brief them on the Chi­nese New Year (CNY) Car­ni­val to be held at Lin­tasan Dea­soka on Fe­bru­ary 1 and 2.

Among those present at the lun­cheon were Tan Sri Paul Lim, Datuk Tay Jin Jwo, Datuk Chee Chi Seng, Datuk James Hwong, Henry Kong, Kap­i­tan Li Su Fook, Kota Kinabalu mem­ber of par­lia­ment Chan Foong Hin, and Likas assem­bly­man Tan Lee Fatt.

All ad­vi­sors were in­vited to the Chi­nese New Year Car­ni­val on Fe­bru­ary 1 and 2, and the 25th an­niver­sary din­ner of FCAS at Hakka Hall on Fe­bru­ary 9.

The open­ing of the car­ni­val will be of­fi­ci­ated by Chief Min­is­ter Datuk Seri Pan­glima Shafie Ap­dal, while Deputy Chief Min­is­ter Datuk Christina Liew will of­fi­ci­ate the closing of the event.

Au­di­ence at the Chi­nese New Year Car­ni­val will be en­ter­tained with cul­tural dances, singing and dragon and lion dance per­for­mances, whereas the high­light of the event is the fire­works dis­play to wel­come tourists who are spend­ing the fes­tive sea­son in Kota Kinabalu.
