18 successfully complete lawn bowls coaching course
KOTA KINABALU: Eighteen candidates successfully completed the four-day Level II Lawn Bowls Coaching Course at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex in Likas near here yesterday.
Sabah Lawn Bowls Association (PBPNS) in collaboration with the National Coaching Acedemy (AKK) organised the course.
Organising chairman Shuib Hashim said Sabah have the most participants with 13 followed by Pahang with two while Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Australia have one participant each.
“The objective of the course is to enhance and improve the standard of the coaches,” he said.
The instructors of the course were Malaysia Lawn Bowls Federation (PLBM) head coach Dr. Simon Botha and national coach Zuraidi Puteh.
President of PBPNS Datuk Ladislaus Maluda officially closed the course while PLBM secretary general Syed Zainal Abidin was also present.
