KOTA KINABALU: The Human Resources Development Department (JPSM) has invited Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCCI) to be one of the leading partners of the Sabah Job Centre portal, an exclusive job portal launched by JPSM.

By using this online tool, employers can look for the best employees with all the necessary skills needed for their firms.

JPSM director Zainudin Aman, who paid a courtesy call to KKCCCI, welcomed all the KKCCCI members to register at joblink.sabah.gov.my as an employer and provide suggestions on the skill sets and training courses that comply with the job requirement nowadays.

During a dialogue session with KKCCCI, Zainudin also introduced the JPSM’s Institute of Technical Training and Trade in Papar, which is a professional human development center for semi-skilled workers through providing a variety of technical and commercial training programmes.

Details of training courses and programmes can be obtained from JPSM official website: www.jpsm.sabah.gov.my.

KKCCCI president Datuk Michael Lui welcomed the proposal by Zainudin and urged KKCCCI members to optimize the available resources and services provided by the State Government in order to help reduce the unemployment rate, reduce labor outflow and help solve the labor shortage in Sabah.

He reiterated the need to strengthen cooperation with government departments and agencies to promote the advancement of the nation’s economy.

He said KKCCCI will continue to be more aggressive playing the role as a bridge between the government and the business sector to carry out activities beneficial to the people and help to bring about national prosperity.
