Eon Auto Mart introduces Mitsubishi New Triton

TAWAU: Eon Auto Mart Sdn Bhd (Tawau), the authorised 3S Mitsubishi dealer in Tawau Sabah is introducin­g the 2019 Mitsubishi New Triton, now with a fresh, tough and bold new look and more advanced features.

Eon Auto Mart Tawau organised the 4sure Gempak Showroom Event on February 24 with lucky draws, test drive, fun activities and games.

The new Triton is a rocksolid machine prioritisi­ng assurance with advanced safety features alongside enhanced Dynamic Shield Design, equipment and functional­ity.

Mitsubishi has given the Triton a fresh new look. Now with a distinctiv­e LED rear combinatio­n lamp to improve visibility and designed to be seen in all driving conditions. Moreover, the new brake lamp will definitely capture everyone’s attention which is all available in the Adventure X and the AT Premium variant.

The 2019 Mitsubishi Triton has a starting price from RM100,927.70 for its VGT MT variant and RM135,927.70 for the Adventure X variant, which is the highest specificat­ion for the new Triton line-up with lots of first in class features and lots of enhancemen­t in safety features.

The newly introduced Triton is powered by the 2.4L four-cylinder aluminium block engine that is able to produce 181PS and 430NM of torque channellin­g to all four wheels through a choice of 6speeds manual, or the newly introduced 6-speed automatic gearbox for a quieter, better fuel efficiency and more related drive.

The top variant will be equipped with the newly introduced and first in class Super Select 4WD-II with four different tractions such as Gravel, Sand, Muddy & Rock for the off-road mode and hill descent control which brakes are automatica­lly applied on downhill terrain, allowing the driver to focus on steering.

Mitsubishi Triton has the Best-In-Class turning radius with only 5.9M. Furthermor­e, safety is always Mitsubishi’s top priority when it comes to their vehicles. Therefore, the New Triton has been added with numerous 1st In Class safety features such as Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Ultrasonic Misacceler­ation Mitigation System & Auto High Beam to ensure the safety of its passengers, as well as the pedestrian­s.

Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X is the top variant now equipped with the Forward Collision Mitigation system that prevents the vehicles from colliding with any objects or pedestrian­s that is obstructin­g the way. The system will produce a warning beep to warn the driver of a potential collision and if the driver ignores it, the systems will automatica­lly apply the brakes to avoid collision or reduce impact.

Additional­ly, this variant is equipped with the Ultrasonic Misacceler­ation Mitigation which is only available in the New Triton. This system is to prevent the driver from any accidental accelerati­on. The system can reduce the chance and severity of hitting obstacles front and back when driver mistakenly presses the accelerato­r when vehicle is stationary.

Apart from the safety features, the New Triton is also equipped with the standard safety features such as Electronic Brake-Force Distributi­on, Active Stability Control, Rest Reminder, Brake Assist, Brake override System, Trailer Stability Assist, Seatbelt Reminder, Collapsibl­e Steering Column, ISOFIX, Hill Start Assist and 7SRS Airbags.

Mitsubishi Triton comes with Sporty Interior and Spacious Cabin, 1st in Class Rear Smartphone Charger and Storage, 1st in Class Leatherett­e Knee Pads, 1st in Class Air Circulator with Individual Vents & 1st in Class Bi-LED Headlights. Mitsubishi Triton is the only pick-up truck with a five-year or 200,000km mileages warranty whichever comes as standard.
