Sabah Softwoods staff pitch in to spruce up school
TAWAU: Thirty staff of Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB) carried out a community project at SK Perdana, Pasir Putih recently.
Among the activities were repainting the school fences and huts, the recreational hut, replacing the school logo and signs and cleaning the school area, led by SSB Corporate Communication manager Sahruddin Paidi.
Sahruddin said SSB was committed to carry out welfare work not only for the staff of the company but also for the community.
“The activity can foster teamwork and further strengthen relationships between SSB, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and the school,” he said.
At the same time, the SSB staff also donated a laptop and air conditioner to the school.
He added the company’s corporate social responsibility activities were expected to help and provide cheer to the students of SK Perdana, Pasir Putih, Tawau and local residents.
