Sabah Softwoods staff pitch in to spruce up school

TAWAU: Thirty staff of Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB) carried out a community project at SK Perdana, Pasir Putih recently.

Among the activities were repainting the school fences and huts, the recreation­al hut, replacing the school logo and signs and cleaning the school area, led by SSB Corporate Communicat­ion manager Sahruddin Paidi.

Sahruddin said SSB was committed to carry out welfare work not only for the staff of the company but also for the community.

“The activity can foster teamwork and further strengthen relationsh­ips between SSB, Parent-Teacher Associatio­n (PTA) and the school,” he said.

At the same time, the SSB staff also donated a laptop and air conditione­r to the school.

He added the company’s corporate social responsibi­lity activities were expected to help and provide cheer to the students of SK Perdana, Pasir Putih, Tawau and local residents.
