AG lodges police report over allegation­s of him being anti-Islam

PUTRAJAYA: AttorneyGe­neral Tommy Thomas lodged a police report yesterday in the wake of several allegation­s of him being anti-Islam that has gone viral on social media.

It is learned that two of his special officers, Amir Nasarudin and Siti Rahayu Mumazaini, made the report on his behalf at the Putrajaya District Police headquarte­rs at 3.15 pm.

Reporters who went to the police headquarte­rs were unable to obtain details of the report.

The two officers were seen leaving the police headquarte­rs in a grey Proton Perdana car at 4.45 pm.

Putrajaya District Police chief ACP Rosly Hasan, when contacted, confirmed having received the report.

“The case will be investigat­ed by Bukit Aman,” he said. Bukit Aman is the federal police headquarte­rs. - Bernama
