Business inspiratio­n, networking for Sabah SME community

KOTA KINABALU: Business Media Internatio­nal and SME Magazine recently concluded the Kota Kinabalu session of InspiredSM­E, bringing together Sabahan business leaders in a casual evening of informativ­e talks and networking.

Held at Elusion Café at the Courtyard Hotel @ 1Borneo, the evening was attended by over 50 guests from Sabah's smalland medium-enterprise (SME) community.

A speaking session by seven invited speakers was the highlight of the evening, inspiring guests to take their business to the next level.

The speakers were Eddysamond Layun – Director and Founder of Dee Layun Resources (Group); Nelson Mosinoh – Managing Director, Gain For Life Academy; Dato' Seri Winston Liaw Kit Siong – Chairman, Airworld Travel & Tour; Jude Day – Festival Director, Kota Kinabalu Internatio­nal Film Festival; Alfred Bulagang – Regional Head of SME, Maybank Sabah; Alvin Choo – Vice CEO, Hakka Century Funeral Parlour; and Foo Ngee Kee – Managing Director, Courtyard Hotel Management.

Each speaker was given 10 minutes to give a talk on a SMErelevan­t topic. The bite-sized talks by the speakers provided the perfect opportunit­y for guests to learn about progressiv­e new ideas.

The evening concluded with a networking session, ideal for attendees to get to know each other and connect with potential business partners. Guests also mingled freely with the speakers to explore their inspiring ideas further.
