GTIC Group set for fruitful year

KOTA KINABALU: GTIC Group is set for a fruitful year with the expansion of its Gold Houses and taking the company public in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Its chairman Victor Soh said the company would be opening six more Gold Houses in the next few weeks.

"We will open the new outlets as soon as the renovation works are done.

"The next outlet in Zhuhai is expected to open in May this year," he said at GTIC Group's award ceremony cum gala dinner held in conjunctio­n with the grand opening of its Gold House in Signature Office KK Times Square here on Monday.

The Gold House in Kota Kinabalu is the company's second outlet in Malaysia and the first flagship outlet in East Malaysia.

The dinner was graced by Yang Mulia M Kin Eezaz Abdullah Tengku A B.

Soh continued to say that GTIC Group would go public in Taiwan and Hong Kong this year.

Additional­ly, he said the company had ventured into the mining business, which would augur well for its growth.

The event also saw a donation of RM18,000 to Don Bosco Children Home at Bundu Tuhan, Ranau.

Sister Anne Marie said there were currently six staff and a driver taking care of 57 children in the home.

She said the home provided shelter, food and education for children who came from poor or broken families, as well as children who lost their parents and living with their elderly grandparen­ts.

The company also presented VVIP and VIP Distributo­r Achievemen­t Certificat­es during the dinner.

Also present at the event was GTIC Group chief executive officer Syengnel Loh.
