-

LABUAN: It was a haze and dry Friday when the peace road of Membakut was awaken by the roar of engine of 13 high-powered bikes which were on a interdistrict convoy and charitable mission.

Flashing huge Harley Davidson bikes, the riders thundered into a religious school, namely Rumah Anak Yatim dan Tahfiz Darul Yatama Yacob Khan in Membakut.

The bikers, led by a local entrepreneur Datuk Shamsul Sahari, were on their convoy from September 13 to 15.

The route took them from Labuan through Menumbok, Membakut, Kota Kinabalu, Kundasang, Kota Belud, Kimanis and back to Labuan.

Having spent time to understand the needs of the organisation, Shamsul together with 12 riders collected some amount of money and donated to the school’s representative.

The riders also took a tour of the place to see the facilities available in the school. - Bernama
