One-stop convenience store opens at Imago
KOTA KINABALU: From selling clothes to having a recreational activities, KWC Lifestyle Shoppes (KWC) provides a contemporary 24-hour one stop shop experience for its customers.
Its founder, Kuan Wei Chung, said KWC is not an ordinary convenience store, but it incorporates multiple services into its retail experience.
Located at Imago shopping mall here, Kuan said the shop is here to serve all range of customers, especially those who are staying nearby, in particular, The Loft residents.
“KWC has everything for the entire family, where they can shop, eat, work, meet and play while waiting to board their flights or check in to their rooms due to early arrivals.
“On the ground floor you will find pharmaceutical products, fresh food and other goods.
“On the first floor, you will find our iconic rainbow staircase. Please feel free to take some pictures there.
“Upstairs, other than the toys and homeware, we are displaying many local products such as Sabah tea, durian flavoured goods, souvenirs and bird’s nest.
“As you discover KWC further, you will find the very first experiential gallery in East Malaysia. ERK Experience Gallery, which is a virtual showcase of Kota Kinabalu’s natural wonders,” he explained in his speech during the grand opening of the shop here yesterday.
Highlighting on the gallery, Kuan said the interactive gallery is suitable for all ages and has various activities that encourage and stimulate creativity, exploration and more.
“Other than fulfilling the customers’ wants and needs, we want to give our customers a convenient shopping experience while making them feel welcome.
“We hope that not only nearby residents or tourists stop by at our store, but locals as well.
“Friends and customers can visit our shop anytime. When I say anytime, I really mean anytime. We are open 24 hours daily,” he said.
Apart from the grand opening, Kuan also presented a mock cheque for RM10,000 to the Persatuan Pengurusan Pusat Jagaan OKU Leshan Kota Kinabalu as a CSR contribution made by ERK Experience Gallery.
Also present during the grand opening was the permanent secretary of the Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry, Datuk William Baya.
