Rotary Youth Leadership Award March 15-18

TAWAU: Rotary Club of Tawau is going to organize ‘Rotary Youth Leadership Award’ (RYLA) program from March 15 to 18 (Sunday till Wednesday) at Vision School, Mile 10, Bandar Sri Indah, here.

Organizing chairperso­n for the program is the club’s Youth Service director, Rotarian Vivian Thien with her committee members - president Nicholas Pang, Past President (PP) Datuk Patrick Chin, PP Quek Siew Wah, PP William Cheang, PP Matthias Chin, PP Frankie Chua, presidente­lect Tony Wong, Philip Yong, Lim Shan Yie, Chong Kin Ker and

Chong Kin Tzun.

RYLA is an exciting program designed for young adults, between 14 and 19 years old, to participat­e in a four-day leadership program with proven leadership ability and a commitment to community service.

The theme for year 2020 RYLA is connect our youth for tomorrow.

Apart from forming lasting friendship­s, RYLA will help youth to discover their potential and develop the skills needed to be a leader in the community, career, and everyday life.

The RYLA camp will be attended by the students from many places such as Singapore, Brunei, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Tawau, Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu, among others.

The final registrati­on deadline is on February 15.
