Face shields for Tawau Hospital
TAWAU: JCIM Area Sabah NonGovernment Organisation has donated 800 pieces of face shield to Tawau Hospital here.
The donation was made under JCIM Area Sabah's Time Donation Project, which was initiated by JCIM Area Sabah in collaboration with 12 other local organisations.
Together, they purchased and processed face shields and other essential medical supplies for to use of frontline medical personnel in Sabah.
The donation was handed over by the project co-organising chairperson, Chin Siau Sy, along with JCI Merotai president, Jenny Pang.
Also present during the handing over session were JCIM National vice president Nicholas Chin, JCIM Area Sabah directors Max Voo and Calvin Kum, as well as JCI Merotai vice president, Wong Jia Chi.
Siau Sy thanked JCI Merotai members for their cooperation in completing the 800 pieces of face shield in two weeks.
She thanked all JCI members for their hard work in supporting the medical frontliners here.
She also thanked the medical staff for all their hard work during this pandemic and look forward to the day that there are zero Covid-19 cases in Malaysia.
