Face shields for Tawau Hospital

TAWAU: JCIM Area Sabah NonGovernm­ent Organisati­on has donated 800 pieces of face shield to Tawau Hospital here.

The donation was made under JCIM Area Sabah's Time Donation Project, which was initiated by JCIM Area Sabah in collaborat­ion with 12 other local organisati­ons.

Together, they purchased and processed face shields and other essential medical supplies for to use of frontline medical personnel in Sabah.

The donation was handed over by the project co-organising chairperso­n, Chin Siau Sy, along with JCI Merotai president, Jenny Pang.

Also present during the handing over session were JCIM National vice president Nicholas Chin, JCIM Area Sabah directors Max Voo and Calvin Kum, as well as JCI Merotai vice president, Wong Jia Chi.

Siau Sy thanked JCI Merotai members for their cooperatio­n in completing the 800 pieces of face shield in two weeks.

She thanked all JCI members for their hard work in supporting the medical frontliner­s here.

She also thanked the medical staff for all their hard work during this pandemic and look forward to the day that there are zero Covid-19 cases in Malaysia.
