Upko denies connections with non-Warisan Plus parties

KOTA KINABALU: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) has denied any connections with other parties that are not aligned to Warisan Plus in this state election.

Its information chief, Albert Bingkasan, said Upko would not hesitate to take legal actions against the culprits who were trying to defame the party.

In a statement yesterday, Bingkasan said that Upko is aware of the viral e-posters of opposition candidates, claimed to be issued by the Upko headquarters.

“We deny this as Upko had never issued any e-posters for any candidates other than the ones from Upko,” he said.
