Biggest chiropractic centre to be established in Sabah
The Borneo Chiropractic Spinal Centre’s second branch in Likas Square is expected to have Sabah’s biggest chiropractic centre at Likas Square by end-September 2020.
Its director, Dr Matthew S Naismith, said after gaining the trust of the people in Sabah, the Borneo Chiropractic Spinal Centre had grown its clientele to 10,000 patients who hailed from throughout Sabah, including Sandakan, Tawau, Keningau and Kudat.
“When I was in West Malaysia, we knew that chiropractic was very new and knew that Sabah didn’t really have it.
“I wanted to hit the market and worked really hard to get the work permit through and that was not easy for a foreigner to get a work pass for a fairly new profession [inAsia].
“We have three chiropractors.
Myself and Dr Simon, who is from Australia, have over 30 years of combined experience and we have a young chiropractor, Dr Sharukh from KL, who has a very strong vision of chiropractic is spot on,” said Dr Naismith.
“Renovations are underway on the other side of the centre and once we open up, it will be probably the biggest as far as square footage (sq ft) and facilities we will eventually offer. I think it will be around 2000 sq ft.
“I don’t know anybody else who has the square footage,” he added prior to the centre’s grand opening ceremony at Likas Square here.
During the grand opening, the centre ran a one-day special promotion, offering three free sessions for every 10 sessions booked by clients.
